VCE/IB Physics & Maths Tutoring

My name is Anastasia and my pronouns are she/her/hers.

I have been tutoring online and in-person since 2004 and utilise Zoom & Google Docs to interact with my online clients.

I have been teaching and tutoring science, mathematics, and writing for over 16 years. I have training and experience assisting all learning styles, and with all learning challenges (including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD).

I hold a MS in Experimental Nuclear Physics and Theoretical Astrophysics, a BA in English - Creative Writing, and a GradDipEd - Secondary in Physics and Mathematics.

The student's current subject load,
any current concerns with respect to their learning journey, and
specific goals the student wishes to reach through the tutoring and mentoring process.

The first full session will involve an assessment of current capabilities and current struggles - the format of this is dependent upon the student's goals and subjects, but usually involves an account of the topics currently being covered and a discussion of prior topics to determine any specific gaps that may exist in the student's background knowledge.
